Research into STEMI care pathways: Online Survey

ST- Elevation Myocardial infarction (STEMI) is one of the most common  disease in our aging world that leads to mortality due to its time sensitivity characteristics. The promises by clinical pathway in  controlling the cost, time and quality of patient care has encouraged the use of clinical pathway in STEMI care. However, it is still not clear what are the the most optimal clinical pathway components that will suit the STEMI patients and will make the use of the clinical pathway more practical?. Hence, in this study a survey was designed to answer the aforementioned  question.

Objective

The objective of this study is to identify the important components of STEMI clinical pathway design that could provide the most important quality of care for STEMI patients and develop a framework for its evaluation.   Ar this stage, I would like to know the opinion from all the experts in the field of either the clinical pathway experts or STEMI care professionals from all the disciplines involved in STEMI care (case managers, nurses, rehabs , nutritionist, lab staff, emergency MD, cardio medical residence, cardiologists, and cardio interventionists.

Request to participate in the online survey
I would like to request E-P-A members to participate in this survey which aims at identifying the important components in ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) clinical pathway design in order to achieve high quality health care. This survey forms a part of my PhD Dissertation entitled “Development of Clinical Pathway Evaluation Framework for an Optimal ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) patient care”

The survey consists of four sections:
Section A: Respondent’s Demographic Data.
Section B: Structure Components.
Section C: Variances and Outcomes Components.
Section D: Process (Activities and Interventions) Components.

Please be assured that all information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence. However, we will acknowledge your participation in our reports and publications as one of the expertise participant in this work whenever we use the survey results, unless you choose to keep your personal information anonymous.  All you have to do is follow one of the two Survey links below, complete the survey, and click submit.  It will take you about 10 minutes but the information that you will provide would be very important to this study.

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this important study.  I look forward to receiving your opinion and benefit from your assistance.

Sincerely,
